Pay Rate: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedules Available: 1st, 2nd, + 3rd Shift

Job Duties

• Review tooling designs for plastic components to ensure they meet engineering, manufacturing, and customer requirements.
• Design and developtools, molds, dies, and fixturesfor high-quality components.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve tooling performance, quality, and cost.
• Usemold-flow analysisto identify potential molding issues and improve production efficiency.
• Work with tooling suppliers during the RFQ process.
• Maintain documentation related to tooling designs, analysis, and process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement of tooling processes and manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge ofinjection molding tooling design and mold-making processes
• Hands-on experience with injection molding tools and tool maintenance
• SolidWorks/CAD
• GD&T
• Mold-flow analysis
• SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma
• Knowledge of 2-shot molding, insert molding, IMD/IML
• Understanding of machining and secondary processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
